A Silver Alert that was issued on Wednesday for 79-year-old Tony Capuano, who was reported missing by his family on Tuesday, has been canceled. The former Stratford firefighter had last been seen leaving the Baldwin Center in his Chrysler 300.
Officials said that he was found upstate later in the day, safe on Wednesday. When he went missing, Capuano had no cell phone, and he suffers from diabetes and required his medication.
